1. Overview

Shipyu is a multi-carrier shipment tracking and logistics intelligence platform designed to provide centralized visibility across inbound and outbound shipments, carrier performance, and operational workflows.

By accessing or using Shipyu, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. Services Provided

Shipyu provides:

  • Multi-carrier shipment tracking across supported carriers
  • Real-time status updates, alerts, and exception detection
  • Inbound and outbound shipment organization
  • Storefront integrations (e.g., Shopify, Amazon)
  • Bulk import, manual entry, and data synchronization tools
  • Shipment analytics and operational insights
  • Optional label purchasing and related services

Shipyu does not operate as a carrier and does not physically handle, transport, or deliver shipments.

3. Account & Access

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activity conducted under your account
  • Ensuring accuracy of submitted shipment data

Shipyu may suspend or terminate access for misuse, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. Shipment Data & Accuracy

Shipyu aggregates tracking data from third-party carrier systems. Tracking data is provided on an "as available" basis. Delays, inaccuracies, or missing scans may occur due to carrier reporting limitations.

Shipyu does not guarantee real-time or error-free tracking data. Users are responsible for verifying critical shipment details directly with carriers when necessary.

5. Tracking Number Usage & Locking Policy

Shipyu subscription plans include a defined monthly allowance for tracking numbers processed through the platform. Each tracking number added to the Shipyu system—whether imported from connected storefronts, uploaded manually, or submitted through integrations—counts toward the applicable subscription limit.

To maintain platform integrity and prevent misuse, tracking numbers entered into the system remain editable for a brief adjustment period. Users may modify or remove tracking numbers within fifteen (15) minutes after submission to correct errors or accidental uploads.

After this fifteen-minute adjustment window expires, the tracking number becomes permanently recorded in the system and will count toward the account's monthly tracking allowance, even if the shipment is later deleted, delivered, or otherwise no longer active.

Shipyu reserves the right to monitor usage patterns and enforce reasonable limitations or safeguards if activity suggests abuse of the platform's tracking system.

6. Inbound vs Outbound Shipments

Shipyu supports:

  • Inbound shipments — purchases or incoming deliveries tracked for visibility
  • Outbound shipments — shipments created and sent by the user

Certain features—including label services—apply only to outbound shipments created through Shipyu.

8. Liability Limitations

Shipyu is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays, losses, or delivery failures
  • Incorrect tracking updates provided by carriers
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

Users are responsible for filing shipment issues with the relevant carrier and maintaining all required documentation.

9. Fees & Payments

Shipyu may charge for:

  • Subscription plans
  • Shipment volume usage
  • Label purchases

All fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds for annual plans are provided at our discretion within 14 days of purchase.

Referral rewards and creator commissions are promotional incentives and are always subject to qualification rules, payout review, anti-abuse controls, and program limits. Standard referral rewards are issued as Shipyu subscription credits capped at the current Starter monthly plan value unless otherwise stated in a specific promotion, and apply to future billing invoices. Rewards may be withheld, adjusted, or reversed for refunds, chargebacks, disputes, duplicate-account activity, self-referrals, or other abuse indicators.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Shipyu for illegal or restricted shipments
  • Misrepresent shipment contents or declared value
  • Attempt to abuse tracking, shipping, or billing systems
  • Create self-referrals, duplicate accounts, synthetic signups, or referral/commission farming loops
  • Use misleading promotion, impersonation, or incentive abuse to manipulate referral or creator payouts
  • Interfere with platform functionality, servers, or infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute the service without written consent
  • Scrape or extract data from the platform for commercial purposes

Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination. Shipyu may freeze payout requests, reject or reverse rewards, and retain audit logs for enforcement, fraud-review, and legal compliance.

11. Third-Party Services

Shipyu integrates with third-party services including carriers and storefront platforms. Shipyu is not responsible for:

  • Third-party outages or service failures
  • Changes in external APIs or policies
  • Data accuracy from third-party systems

12. Data & Privacy

Shipyu processes shipment-related data to provide its services. By using Shipyu, you agree to data collection and processing required for tracking, integrations, and platform functionality, as well as storage of shipment-related metadata.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Shipyu platform are owned by Shipyu Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

14. Service Availability

Shipyu aims to provide high uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, outages, or third-party issues may affect availability.

15. Termination

Shipyu may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these Terms, fraud or abuse, or operational or legal requirements. You may delete your account at any time through dashboard settings or by contacting support.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shipyu shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, business, or data. Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

17. Modifications

Shipyu may update features, pricing, and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction of operation.
