How Shipyu Works
Everything you need to know about tracking, labels, insurance, integrations, and more.
Getting Started
Everything you need to go from signup to your first shipment.
Creating an Account
Go to shipyu.com/signup and enter your name, company (optional), email, and password.
Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.
Once verified, you're logged into your dashboard with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. Your trial includes up to 250 tracked shipments.
You can enable two-factor authentication (TOTP) anytime from Settings for added security.
Dashboard Overview
Your dashboard is the command center for all shipping activity. At the top, you'll see five KPI cards:
- Active Shipments — packages currently in transit
- Delivered — successful deliveries with period-over-period trends
- Exceptions — shipments with issues flagged by carriers
- Delayed — packages past their original ETA
- Needs Action — items requiring your attention
Below the KPIs, you'll find your shipments table split into Outbound (shipments you send) and Inbound (purchases coming to you) tabs. Use the time filter to view Today, This Week, This Month, or a custom range.
New users see an onboarding checklist with guided steps: add a shipment, buy a label, protect a package, connect a store, and set up notifications.
Adding Balance (Wallet)
Before buying labels, you need funds in your Shipyu Wallet. Go to Settings → Wallet and click Add Funds.
Enter the amount you'd like to deposit (minimum $25, maximum $10,000 per deposit).
Choose your payment method: Card (3.75% processing fee) or ACH / Bank Transfer (no fee).
Complete the Stripe checkout. Your balance appears as pending briefly, then moves to available once confirmed.
Use ACH transfers to avoid the 3.75% card processing fee. Funds typically clear within 1–2 business days.
